Software for managing Quran memorization centers and circles

Running a Quran memorization association or center means following dozens of circles and hundreds of students, collecting attendance and recitation records from every teacher, and turning them into reports for parents and management. Halaqat brings all of this into one mobile app, so teachers can focus on teaching and administrators know how every circle is doing at any time.

One structure for your association, centers and circles

Halaqat mirrors how your organization really works: an association contains centers, each center contains circles (halaqat), and each circle has its teacher and students. Every user has a role with its own permissions: supervisors, assistants, teachers, parents and students.

The general supervisor sees every center, a center supervisor sees only their circles, a teacher sees their own students, and a parent sees only their children.

What teachers record in each session

From their phone, a teacher records for each student in seconds:

  • Attendance and absence
  • Every type of recitation: memorization, revision, reinforcement, tajweed and tests, with the surah and ayahs or pages
  • A grade (excellent, very good, good, acceptable, needs repeating) and points, with totals calculated automatically
  • Preparation for the next session and student behavior

Statistics and reports without spreadsheets

Every record feeds statistics automatically: attendance rates, pages memorized and revised, points, and a leaderboard for each circle, viewable weekly or monthly for each circle and each student.

Statistics can be exported as PDF reports and certificates on ready-made templates, including circle and association performance and the names of supervisors, teachers and students, ready to print or share.

Shared memorization plans across the association

Administrators can create a memorization plan once and make it available to the whole association or to specific centers or circles. Plans are generated from rules (surah to surah, by pages or by juz, with the amount per session and revision sessions), built session by session, or imported from Excel. Supervisors then see each student's progress, calculated automatically from their recitations.

Parents stay in the loop

Parents follow their child's memorization, revision and attendance in the same app, with daily and weekly reports and instant notifications, so teachers get fewer calls and families support the circle more.
