Delete your Halaqat account

This page explains how users of the Halaqat app (حلقات - إدارة حلقات التحفيظ), published on Google Play by Trip3apps, can request that their account and the data linked to it be deleted.

How to request deletion

1. Message us on WhatsApp using the button below.
2. Send the phone number or username you sign in to Halaqat with, and the name of your halaqa or center.
3. We confirm that the request comes from the account owner, delete the account within 30 days, and reply to let you know it is done.

Data that is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your name, phone number and other profile information
• Your notification settings and device tokens

Data that is kept

• Records that belong to your halaqa or center (such as students, recitations, attendance and grades) stay with the center, because the center manages them. The center's administrator can ask us to delete them.
• Copies in our backups are erased within 90 days of deletion.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

To delete specific data, such as a student's records, without deleting your account, message us on WhatsApp with what you want removed.
